One Cheeky Girl!

Our precious little darling is quickly turning into a fiery burst of energy. She has a very bad habit of putting anything choking-hazard size directly into her mouth. She recently threw one of her favorite shoes into the toilet for some entertainment. She has been demanding to wear big brothers clothes for a few weeks now. She really topped herself this last week when she demanded to put on his underwear...instantly transforming herself into SuperNaughtyGirl. By the way, she is available to rent for any of you who think how nice it would be to have a sweet little girl in your home! We're starting to think we were deceived by all of our friends who supposedly have "sweet" girls. Mommy and daddy don't get through one hour of our day without saying "No hitting" to her...unless she's unconscious. Even then, you have to be careful. She recently took her binkie out of her mouth and whacked mommy in the face with it within 5 seconds of waking up.

Yee-Haw!

We went to Rawhide...a cowboy town in Arizona while visiting recently. Preston LOVES this place. We go there every time we visit Arizona. This time, all three tough guys rode the mechanical bull: Mike, Tony, and Brian. Guess who won? The police officer, of course! Congrats Brian! Doin' the bull dance! Feelin' the flow! Preston did his own version of the bull dance on the horsie ride and Abby shook her groove thing to the rockin' cowboy band. Yee haw!

An Early Christmas

We went to Arizona to visit Krista's sister and her family recently. We had an early Christmas with gingerbread house making and present opening.

The Polar Express

Preston & Brayden got to ride on The Polar Express with their daddies up to the North Pole. Santa visited the train cars and gave everyone their special bells after hot cocoa and cookies. Such fun!

Shamrock Farm

In our Arizona visit, we went to Shamrock Farm, where the cousins got to see how a dairy functions. They also visited with Roxie, the spokescow and Santa even stopped by for a visit.

Happy First Birthday!

Abby turned one in November...such a big girl! Her favorite things in life are books (reading one page, throwing the book down, then going to get another one), sleeping (the girl loves to sleep...much to mommy's delight), and smacking big brother in the head with her binkie. So much for sugar & spice & everything nice!

Happy 5th Birthday Preston

Our big boy turned 5 years old this week. He had a knights and dragons birthday party with some friends. They played "Pin the Fire on the Dragon," "Storm the Castle," and had a treasure hunt where they had to sneak past the sleeping dragon to get their treasures.

Brother & Sister

What a great big brother...and just how big an object can lil sis fit in her mouth? We've already had one heimlich incident...I am sure there are more to come with the way things mysteriously find there way to her mouth!!

Halloween 2008

Italian Baby

She is definitely Italian because she LOVES bread. She managed to grab this hunk off the cutting board and refused to give it back until it was nice and soggy and smeared all over every inch of her face and arms. If we have bread at the table within her sight, she will refuse what we are offering until we give her the bread. Such a stinker!

Cousin Power!

All five cousins from the Smith side got together recently...boy oh boy! Oh, wait. There is one girl in there and doesn't she know it! She will rule them all within a couple of years, they just don't know it yet!

First Day of Preschool

Preston started preschool this week...such a big boy. He goes 2 days a week & loves it!

Trip to Eugene

We recently visited some friends up in Eugene, Oregon. When Abby isn't attached to mommy's hip, well, she's attached to mommy's chest! She is a complete mama's girl. She will refuse to go to even daddy when mom is available!

Definitely A Smith

There's no lack of Smith genes in this girl...adorable Greek/Italian baby!

"Just Keep Swimming"

How cute is this swimsuit! She's not as much of a water baby as Preston was, but she still enjoys our pool. So has Preston...every night after dinner he gets to swim. We've been especially enjoying the water this summer...it was 111 degrees here this week!

Joyful Days

Krista's days are filled with fun with these two hooligans around. Abby's personality is demanding to say the least. Preston is just a big goofball!

Bye, Uncle Timmy!

Uncle Timmy left for his mission in Brazil this spring. We miss him terribly, but he is doing wonderful. Preston especially misses his baseball buddy!

Wedding Day

We recently went to Arizona where Krista and Preston were in the wedding of a high school friend, Nicole Barnett. Preston was a ring bearer and looked dashing in his tuxedo. He boogied down on the dance floor well past his bedtime, but was wide awake when the fireworks started! Krista was a bridesmaid, but, oops...she seems to be the only one taking pictures on this trip!

Easter in the Sun

We spent Easter in Arizona, where for probably the only time ever, the egg-hunting took place outside in the morning sun! Preston had a great time teaching Bray-Bray the ins and outs of egg decorating.

Yee-Haw!

The family took a trip to Rawhide, a cowboy town, while in Arizona. There was camel riding, train riding, and mechanical bull riding...oh my! Lets just say it's a good thing we are done having children. Poor Tony!
